Where is the Walla Walla Valley Wine Academy located?

You will find the academy located in the back room space of Tavern Ancestrale on 212 E. Alder Street in Walla Walla. Access is through the front door of the tavern on Alder.

How do I cancel or reschedule a class at the WWV Wine Academy?

All ticket sales are final due to the planning and preparation involved in our events. However, tickets are fully transferable—if you can’t make it, feel free to pass your spot along to a friend, family member, or colleague. It’s a great way to brighten someone’s day! How are the WWV Wine Academy and Linfield University working together to offer WSET courses in Walla Walla?

The Walla Walla Valley Wine Academy works as a satellite provider of WSET courses through Linfield University in the Willamette Valley. When you sign up for a WSET course, you will be redirected to Linfield’s website for registration and payment. You will then receive student login information, any related textbooks and access to your student portal via Linfield. All in-person classes and exams will be held in Walla Walla at 212 E. Alder Street, taught by a certified educator.

Do I have to be in the beverage/wine/hospitality industry to enroll in classes?

No, all wine education at the Walla Walla Valley Wine Academy is open to the general public. There are no pre-requisites for enrollment other than you must be at least 21 years of age. Please note, WSET and Fundamentals of Wine Courses build upon knowledge gained in the previous level so it is strongly recommended to have completed prior coursework. If you are unsure of which level to start on, please email for more information on course content.
